Almost
everyone here knows the basic function of a valve. The function of a resistor
in a circuit is quite similar to that of a valve. To be very precise, the
proper definition of valve isa checkpoint, whichcontrols the flow of any fluid through
a chamber or pipe. Back pressure control
valve controls the pressure and restrictsthe back flow of the fluid when the
forward flow of the fluid stops. A very common back pressure control valve can
be noticed at the domestic pump pipes where the valve checks the back flow the
water when the pump is not working. This protects the pressure from falling.

in industrial cases, back pressurecontrol valve is quite common. There are various models of back pressure
control valveare there with typically various designs and various functions. Few
models are hydraulically controlled, automatically by the fluid flow, pressure;
some are manual controlled wherea pivot like structure controls the flow of the
fluid. Some valves are unidirectional while few are bidirectional or
multidirectional.
In
industrial cases, the valves are manufactured according to the work. They might
not be available ready-made. Any breakdown of such valve parts is fixable in
most of the cases. But if the part is not fixable, the whole replacement is
done by again ordering a custom made valve.
Ready-made valves:
The
domestically used valves are available in the market ready-made. In most of the
cases, any breakdown in such small valves is not done, and a whole replacement is
done in general. This is because the valves are quite cheap and repairing costs
is almost the same of a new valve. Hence people prefer for a better
replacement. The major breakdown reason of valves is excess pressure that was
not controllable. Normally a valveis manufactured with tested results so that
it can take control a pressure, but a valve working for many days might get
damaged. In that case, servicing is necessary.
Back pressure control
valve might be checked by you if there is not
a major problem. Check for leaks, quite easily visible in most of the cases,
and the next is, the feeling of metal or paint (if made of metal).
